Receives, stores, and distributes material, and product within facility.

% of Time Description
Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
Moves materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Loads and unloads full & partial truckloads with product or materials.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, or other stock items and distributes items to the production department or assembly line.
Completes customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or bins, or moves orders to packing station or shipping department.
Marks packaging with identifying information.
Flexibility to work in all areas of the warehouse, when needed.
Validates and records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to customer standards.
Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
Uses computer to enter data.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed including Saturdays and late nights.
Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
Prepares parcels for mailing.
Maintains inventory records.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Formal Education / Certification Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job-Related Experience/ Skills/ Competencies:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Knowledge of Inventory software and company related software.
Tow motor certificate preferred
