Techtronic Industries North America, Inc. Sr. Distribution Business Analyst in Olive Branch, Mississippi

The Senior Distribution Business Analyst is responsible for administrative and technical support of WMS High Jump.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acts as the subject matter and functional expert of distribution systems and daily system operations
  • Works with all support functions to develop skill levels and improve first call resolution

  • Leads the distribution systems support function for your designated shift to include day to day work prioritization and staff development

  • Serves as the on-site liaison between the DC operations supervisors and leads managing escalations related to service disruption, performance, or other issues as they materialize
  • Ensures adequate handoff to the next shift supervisor of any outstanding issues and projects
  • Provides progress reporting and planning to their supervisor for monthly review
  • Ability to manage a team; driving daily, weekly, and monthly goals
  • Implementation and support experience with WMS and ERP systems as well as working knowledge of the integration of the two
  • Provides expert warehouse systems and applications support knowledge and leadership
  • Leverages expert analytics skills to extract data from systems of record to troubleshoot problems or to support a business case related to warehouse systems errors / failures, service delivery, and quality
  • Ability to write complex SQL statements for reporting and system troubleshooting
  • Performs tracking and documentation by entering details of problems, status of service requests, and resolutions into the system of record
  • Identifies improvement opportunities and recommends solutions
  • Works through multiple projects and deadlines
  • Assists with the definition and creation of role based security for distribution systems
  • Will be required to work on-call rotation and some weekends
  • Will be expected to serve as the incident manager on your respective shift
  • Will be expected to be available off hours to support critical incidents

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Requires education equivalent to four years of high school; two year degree preferred
  • SQL, RF handheld device systems and infrastructure, Fortna, CLS, and HighJump experience preferred
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • 2 -- 4 years experience in writing SQL queries
  • 2 -- 4 year of warehouse management systems on hand knowledge; High Jump experience a plus
  • 2 -- 4 years experience in a Distribution Environment
  • Working knowledge in MS Office
  • Knowledge of radio frequency scanning process and devices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills
